Octo!!

October is coming to an end now, what have done for this month?

Time to summarize, had been in station for about month, starting to adapt to station life. I miss hanging out with the guys at CDA. Join the station guys for soccer game at SAFRA Tampines, fun to play with the guys but I don't really like the soccer court, basically the fence doesn't help much... Have to keep picking the balls when we kick over the fence. @%&^$%... Maybe the next one should be Paint-Ball keke...

Me and Yan had been together for 6years, woah maybe is time...

And my sister, Catherine gave birth to a very cute baby girl, now it makes me a uncle of 3 nephews and 3 nieces.

Finally 6mths of training is over

Finally I pass out as SGT le, that 6 mths tough trainings me and my course had are over, all our anger, pain, tears, blood we shed together will always be remembered. Now that we are separated to different fire stations, CDA (instructors), SRBs, I'm gonna miss having fun with all 67 of them...

On my POC (Passing Out Ceremony) day, I'm glad that my mum, my girlfriend and Fen could attend although I would like to ask my sisters and their children to attend too but I only had limited seats to each and everyone of us.

As now it's a new chapter, a new path to go on to continue my career, looking forward to work in a fire station, Seng Kang Fire Station.

Back from Brunei

Just came back from Outward Bound Brunei Darussalam 2 days back, training there were very tough and fun, the solo night really gave me time to really rest and reflect on what I've been doing and to think of what I want in future. Climbing up of BT. Lutut wasn't an easy one, it takes teamwork to get up and down of there. I pretty much enjoy this trip there, an escape from work. Thanks to my teams' effort, Nadiah and Ah Bang Mahmud's teachings.

Haven't blog for a while, been busy with a series of test in CDA, don't really got the time to blog and sometime lazy to type keke... In just about a few weeks later, I'll be passing out as a SGT soon, can't wait...

Easy week

This week ended so fast, not much physical training, just the competiton on Friday and nothing much. Next week we will become seniors, HTA and Brunei will be coming soon for us and after another 3mths we will be SGTs, I just can't wait...

Yan and the national netball team will be having their final match against Sri Lanka, should be ya...lol... Jia You Team Singapore!!! Jia You Yan!!!

Catch Transformers2: Revenge of The Fallen just now at 1:15am with Aloy and Derrick, the movie was nice but I was rather a little disappointed. The fighting scenes were very little and middle part was a little drag but overall not bad. 4/5

Haven't sleep yet and I'm doing guard duty today damn it.

Boring weekend

Last week seems to be a long week, so much things to do in camp, trainings and "special trainings", IPPTs and guard duty makes me so damn tired and no totally no time to rest. Still can't get an gold in my IPPT and that sucks!!!

Yan still not back yet, I spend my weekend mostly at home, I went out with Patrik on Saturday to shopping, bought a few stuffs and we had dinner at Waraku...Yummy!!! In the night. I went over to Pat's house to watch some old chinese movies, damn funny, laugh my a** off lol then we meet up with Chee Hao and JunJie for supper, we end up chatting under the void deck till next morning 5am. In 4 days time, Transformer 2 is showing on all cinemas, anyone wanna watch it with me? But I can only watch it on Friday and Saturday, my Sunday got guard duty...

This week gonna be tough, today encik was asking us who wanna join the fire fighting skills competition, a lot of them were picked, their skills are so much better than mine. At first my name wasn't called, so I think I wasn't good enough and I hide myself from being called up to join as I'm not confident in myself. Minutes later I heard my name being called up, we are gonna train up the whole entire week for it, next week will be the competition, left with 3 more days to train and I had IPPT tomorrow and Friday, Thursday got SOC. I think I'll need a lot of days for recovery next week...

Can I really do well in the competition? Tahan Joe, Tahan!!!

Last week's training is damn tiring plus the driving, I completely use up all my energy on the two major events last week. Got burnt by the iron on my shin while ironing my uniform in camp, damn.. Friday evening went out with my buddy, Derrick and we watched Star Trek. Was really nice and funny compared to the old tv series, is been so long since I last watch movies, munching popcorns all the way... damn shiok!!

Saturday had to wake up early for driving, damn it... Then meet up with Mel Ong for lunch, went shopping alone at PS in the evening, there's so much thin

gs to buy, is like walking in to temperation island to every shopping mall I go to but cannot buy, must wait till GSS comes and had to save up too. Gave Meeyo a bath and brushing her teeth too since mum said she stinks and she smell so nice now.

Happy 5yrs 7mths  Yan!!! Hurry come back!!!

Knee is getting better

Yan have finally reach Scotland yesterday, hope she's having fun there. After resting for 10days of light duties in camp without doing any trainings, today I finally get to catch up with my Rota mates and I found out I've become a softie, I get tired easily today and almost going to fall out during training, weak man!!! My right knee is getting better, I can run, jump and do my trainings but still got the fear of jumping too high up. I bought the Ebene knee guard to try it out see whether it brings mircale to me or not, is not cheap too, damn it... (it better works)

Feeling down

Last week is like a horrible week for me, right knee was still hurting and I can't do any exercise or training drills for that entire week in camp and I lost focus in driving, kana scold by instructors in CDC until I almost can't take it. I had a little talk with my encik for some advise whether should I continue to train despite the pain still lingers there. After spoken to him, I felt much better and I came to a conclusion of what I should do. After that I told my situation with Yan and Pat, they gave me advises and encouragements, thanks to those who lift me up when I was down.

Saturday I went shopping with Pat and to get a new glasses which I accidentally damage the old one.

Had to urge to buy Oakley glasses but too expensive for me to spend my hard earn money just like that although is very nice la...hahaha...maybe next time ba...

Went to Roger and Siyin's wedding that evening with Yan, saw my ex-boss and ex-colleagues, Melvin and Irene too. Weekend are so short, I only manage to spend so little time with Yan, sigh... Treat mum dinner just now since I don't get to spend Mother's day with her last week. Yan went to Scotland le, so shiok get to go overseas, won't get to see her for 2 weeks, going to miss her a lot again...

A random day

I went out alone today, go walk around, visit some friends at Prints and wanted to take some nice photos but just couldn't find what I wanted to take. Saw Ah Chua, my ex-guards campmate, haven't seen him for a long time and he's still with the police force, glad to hear that. Took bus 162M down to wheelock place to find an old friend who is very hard to meet her up, it was Asra, my ex-prints colleague, she have been very busy lately with school work and work at borders which eventually can't plan a gathering with the rest of the gang, Wanzhi and Ariel. She was so shocked to see me in person when I was in borders trying to search for her. Chat a while and we decided to plan an outing with the gang once Ariel and her is free from projects.

Had dinner with Pat, BS and JJ, talk cock session and shared some jokes, after dinner came home watch tv and play with Meeyo. Was kinda worried about my right knee now, it haven't recover fully yet since last Wednesday, I hope everything would be fine tomorrow, Yan told my situation to Steve, Steve told Yan that I need to stop those dangerous exercise, trainings and sports if I want a full recovery and might need to undergo surgery if it happens again, well for sports, I have already stop playing but training? kinda hard not to go, sigh no good news recently. Hurry hurry, recover fast!!!

Oh, is 10th May 2009, Mother's day, I wish my mum and all the mums around the world happy mothers' day!! Your the best!!! (Fathers, your chance will come too lol)

Bad luck this week

This whole week sucks, damn bad luck, first I got ongrowing wisdom tooth which makes me super low morale, pain and can't eat. I reported sick for my toothache which I gotten a referral letter from the MO, I called the bloody polyclinic to make an appointment, the date is so far away, upon getting my appointment I'll need to get another referral letter from the polyclinic just for an review, damn wtf. On the same day, I got back to training and injured my right knee which cause me to be in light duties for 3 days, missing a few number of trainings and now is still not recovering from it, hope it recover sooner. Sigh....

Today's driving lesson, instructor told me to drive all the way to Tampines and back to Ubi afterwards, driving is fun but damn draining of energy...

Sunday must book in by 8pm, damn sian!!!

Training week

Another week of training has pass, lucky this week got long weekend, can super rest. But it seems kinda short when you just sleep all the time keke. Yesterday after my dinner, 9pm++ I fell asleep already, wake up at 8am today, had breakfast in the morning, do weights training, lunch, after lunch go swim came back at 4pm, sleep, wake up at 8.30pm go for dinner, now sitting in front of my com typing my blog, all these seems to happen so fast. Now I left with Saturday and Sunday to spend with Yan and family, all that intense training makes me so tiring and sleepy.

Another 1 more week to end of 1st month of training, 2 more months to get my fire badge and a new patch of ERS will come in, 5 more months to end of my course and I'll get to fire station. Can't wait to go station, endure, endure!!!

NSL

Yesterday NSL (Netball Super League) ended and they announce the national team players after they present the prize money and medals to the winners. Congrats Yan and Fen for getting in the national team!!! That means they get to Scotland for games, so good one...

Family

Another week have past, trainings are getting a little more harder now, train under the big hot sun the whole day can really makes me melts... but I must say, all this intense physical training makes me more fitter now. I finally manage to get IPPT Silver after so long never had this kinda trainings. Just have to tahan another 10 weeks to end of term 1 training. Endure Joe!!!

Coming back home, having dinner with family is still the best, chit chat and eat together on the same table, so heart warming. Spend some time with my Yan and Meeyo, watch tv together after dinner, sharing a cup of coke, more than enough.

Last time when young, always like to stay out late then return home, don't know the meaning of spending time with my family, especially my dad, now grown-up, realise that I didn't cherish those times, is time to get it all back while I still can.

Dreams come true

Today is the day where my dreams come true... I'm gonna be a Firefighter in SCDF and my enlistment (2nd time enlistment) is today, meeting new people, learning new skills and trading my army uniform for a blue one. I shall try to post some photos once I come back...

Paranoid

I dunno why, is it because I'm leaving you that makes me paranoid or am I thinking too much. We fought over small things couple of times recently and is increasing a lot this month, can we really going to get thru this? People always said couples fight and that is normal, why can't it be just a myth rather than we keep fighting over small things, big things.....

I'm not blaming you for anything, I just a little more attention...

Contract, hair and training

Contract signed, hair cutted, bags almost packed and I'm ready to go...

Was doing weights training the whole afternoon today, then went out to meet my sisters to sign my contract, after coming back I straight change into my training attire and went out to run with Patrik, I for sure thinks he had improved in his running after these few weeks of training together with him, but it's also time for him to put it to an higher level of training. I hope he doesn't give up after I left him to train alone while I go train in camp. JiaYou my friend!!

After running, we went for dinner and a hair cut for me. Finally now got some time to blog and I'm off to watch Rocky Balboa DVD liao...

Last day in Prints

Friday (27/03/09) was my last day of work at Prints. I was helping my colleague, Yuting to cover her her shift so I went down to Parkway Parade. When I saw Clark's name on the schedule, I was like, YES LA!!! No "Government" there so we can havoc liao... We played songs that shouldn't be played, I surf net with my laptop, we joke and laugh all the time, we even eat a lot of things in the shop.

I enjoyed my days in the earlier Prints (when I just joined not long ago) where all my ex-colleagues were here with me until they left one by one and made me fight boredom alone as a part timer for 3 years. In that 3 years, I met a lot of friends along the way, we even get closer to each other even though they left and we still keep in contact. Thanks for the ex-colleagues of Prints for such an wonderful time.

65mth

Today is our 65mths together, although we don't have the time to celebrate it but is being with you is important that make it so special. Yan, Happy 65mth!!! Love ya..

Yesterday was my last day in Prints - Citilink, I still got 1 more last day at Parkway this Friday then can completely say I quit from Prints. Jolene and Jeff gave me a toy fire truck as a farewell gift from them, still got remote one hor, looks fun lol... Thanks ya!!

My dumb Meeyo

This morning Meeyo went outside of the house to play while I am in the toilet doing business, she got lost and went to the wrong floor but the same corner unit as mine, their door was closed and she just cried outside of their house without knowing that she went to the wrong house. Best of all, after being with me for almost 3years, sleep on the same bed, sofa together but yet can't recognize me as her owner when I go to carry her. I think she really was freaked out when she think she was lost, she wouldn't let go of their carpet, scratch me and my polo tee, my wrist band was torn apart by her too, dumb cat of mine... lol...

A Lazy Sunday

First of all I think to ask you to quit Netball now is impossible because you love netball every bit and it will be selfish of me to ask you to just quit just like that maybe is because I miss you too much and there's too little amount of time we spend now due to your NSL, work and your studies. Soon I will start my training and we will have even lesser time for each other, you will be visiting lots of countries to play netball, I guess we just have to bear with it until we are both free from everything. For now we must work hard for everything...

Yesterday Yan stayed over at my place, usually she will always get waken up by the bypass train at 5am but she didn't, I think she must be really wear out after the netball game on Saturday, she didn't play very well but she did see a different side of her team, a good side, what I saw from her team was they battled it out to the last sec, although they had a draw with team Stingray but Well Done Vipers!!! Had breakfast with Yan this morning, after that she had to head down to Jurong Indoor Stadium for her match, I didn't go because she's having dinner with her friends and I'll have to go home alone after that. Sunday is boring, lousy tv shows, not enough bricks for my upcoming Lego projects, end up me and Meeyo took afternoon naps again. Woke up about 3plus, played Facebook Motormadness and then I went down for basketball. Is been a long time since I go down to the basketball court to play basketball with my friends. Really surprisingly I can jump higher than before but my stamina drops, didn't have the good players on our team but at least we didn't give up hope everytime we lost pocession, we tried our very best to get it back, halfway thru the game I felt my right knee is signaling me that I gotta stop, rested and then had dinner with my kakis and watch Matrix Relvoution.

Saw one of my best friend from ITE, Junlin today when he saw me at the basketball court, was really very happy to see him, haven't been in contact ever since we spilt from ITE, heard that he's doing fine and I'm glad to hear that, hmmm maybe can meet up with them one day soon, I hope hahaha...

March is ending soon

Today went out to Raiders with my Poly gang to play L4D, a new game that I never play before, kinda fun but play too much will be very boring. After ending our game, we all head home and I went jogging with Patrik, we then meet up again to Hong Mao to get some our snacks refilled. They basically sell a lot of things that are cheaper than many leading supermarkets and mini marts. 

Yesterday my colleagues from Prints gave me a Fire Chief Helmet because I'm leaving them soon for a Firefighter career, thanks Clark, I know is your idea for buying that and thanks for their blessings and wishes to me. Got a call from SCDF, they told me the enlistment date was delayed, starting on 6th April, got myself another week of holiday before starting my job. I'm gonna miss mum's home cook meals, Yan, Meeyo and all my friends...oh and Facebook too..Sh*t!! Benny will start trashing me in Motormadness lol...

Lego Batman Tumbler Preview

After fixing the Tumbler for 3 days, I'm just need another 2-4 missing parts tothe completion of the Tumbler. For now I'll just give you a little preview of it first...

To Yan

Had a quarrel with Yan since last Saturday and finally we have spoken yesterday. I'm really sorry to her for leaving her behind while walking fast infront of her. I shouldn't have done that even though I was angry with her that night BUT it happen. I'm really REALLY SORRY Yan!!

The Tumbler

I've always been a fan of Lego and Batman since I was young, have been staying at home these few days figuring how to create a Batman Tumbler out of Lego. I borrowed the instruction manual on Batman Tumbler from my friend, Patrick. (He got the real thing at home) But the orignal piece from Lego seems to be a little too plain and boring so I decided to modify the orignal piece with some other parts. Visited multipe Simply Toys for parts, have to thank Derrick for accompany me in search for parts despite his backache. Having a lot of problems when I first started, some parts are very hard to find and some are still not found yet,  looks like I need to customise it already. Still working on it, will post it when it's done.

Do you know you hurt me deep in my heart when you said those things in your blog which you have already taken down those post. Do I deserve that? I couldn't eat well, sleep well when I think about it now, I guess you still thinking is a minor thing and I'm petty about it. I did wait for you at the lift, is I don't see you showing up so I left without a word. You said you are not wrong but you're already wrong at first, did I blame you for being late? Did I blame you for missing the movie? The first thing I only asked when you arrive was, "what's for dinner?" Not even a word, sorry came from you, I pretended nothing happen yet you push it over the top and you don't admit you're in the wrong.....
